Teeth Straightening

When asked what they would change about their smile, a lot of adult patients respond that they would like their teeth to be straighter.

It’s possible that you put off getting orthodontic treatment when you were a teenager, and over time, your teeth’s alignment and shape may alter, necessitating orthodontic treatment later in life.

The issue is that many people associate orthodontics with conventional metal wire and bracket braces when they hear the phrase. Although they are quite successful, these braces are also very apparent, and many adult patients who lead hectic social and professional lives are turned off by the idea of donning obtrusive metal braces.

Because of this, Smile Perfections is happy to provide a variety of discrete orthodontics treatments, such as nearly invisible braces and aligners that can cure a variety of orthodontic issues.

Your particular orthodontic needs will determine the best course of action for you. The following are a few issues that discrete orthodontics can help with:

  • Crooked teeth
  • Overcrowded teeth
  • Protruding teeth
  • Irregularly spaced teeth
  • Malocclusion
  • Improper bite

Treatments that we offer

Tooth-coloured braces

The brackets and wires on these braces are translucent or tooth-colored, making them far more covert than their metal counterparts. Your teeth are gradually moved into a more aesthetically pleasing position as they work. After treatment, you’ll need to wear a retainer.

Lingual braces

Although they are linked to the back of your teeth, lingual braces function in the same way as conventional braces. They won’t be seen by the majority of people unless they are staring directly into your mouth, so to speak.

Invisalign clear aligners

With Invisalign®, your teeth are progressively moved into a new position by wearing a set of custom-made transparent aligners that fit over them. You can take out your aligner to clean it, eat, and drink while wearing it, and you must change it every two weeks as your teeth progress.

Inman aligners

The Inman Aligner® is a clear aligner that quickly moves your teeth into a new position by employing a unique combination of springs and bows that provide gentle forces. You may take the aligner out to clean it, as well as to eat and drink.
